The Beta Square is a central place between the science faculties of the Zernike Campus in Groningen. In addition, in the area are two prominent points, these are the Faculty of Life Sciences (FLW) and the square in front of the Bernoulliborg. In the future there will also be a tram stop at the square. By connecting these elements a path is created which will lead through the beta square, the chromosomepath. To mark the length of this major axis, a bench is placed with the "infinite" number pi on it. Furthermore, a pavilion is placed at the beginning for student activities and an outside forum is realized on the square.
